Reisaan Health

Your thyroid is being managed. You are not.

A 3-month program led by Dr. Roshani Sanghani - American Board-Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She investigates what is actually driving your symptoms, not just whether your TSH is in range.

American Board-Certified Endocrinologist · 4.8 · 223 Google reviews · 20+ years

First Consultation

A clinical review of your thyroid reports, metabolic markers, and daily context.

Before the call, Dr. Roshani and her team review everything, so the consultation is spent making sense of it with you - not gathering facts.

  • Thyroid reports - TSH, T3, T4, TPO antibody
  • Metabolic markers and insulin resistance clues
  • Current medications
  • Symptoms, weight, energy, and menstrual context where relevant

You leave with a clear picture of what is driving your symptoms - the thyroid, insulin resistance, or both.

Watch: Thyroid management with Dr. Roshani

Your thyroid numbers may be in range - or keep changing. So why do you still feel like this?

Maybe you take the pill every morning, your TSH comes back in range, and you are told everything is fine - come back in six months. Or your dose keeps changing because the levels will not settle. You may be managing Hashimoto’s or an overactive thyroid, and still not have a clear picture of what is driving how you feel.

Either way, you still do not feel right. You may be exhausted or foggy. For many, the weight will not shift no matter how carefully you eat.

The missing question is how much the thyroid explains - and what else may be contributing. Insulin resistance, sleep disruption, medication timing, stress load, or another hormonal pattern can all affect how you feel.

That is why a thyroid result alone may not explain the whole picture.

The number may be controlled. The wider pattern may not be understood yet.

What gets reviewed together

Thyroid number

TSH, T3, T4, antibodies, dose history, and whether the labs match how you feel.

Metabolic picture

Insulin resistance, body composition, hunger, energy, and weight changes that can mimic thyroid symptoms.

Medication context

What you take, when you take it, what changed over time, and what should not be changed abruptly.

Hormonal overlap

PCOS, cycles, perimenopause, stress load, and sleep patterns when they are part of the picture.

Managing your TSH is not the same as improving the metabolic environment your thyroid lives in.

Thyroid function is sensitive to the lifestyle environment surrounding it. Dr. Roshani and her team review your thyroid panel alongside metabolic markers, medication history, symptoms, and lifestyle data before deciding what needs attention first.

Thyroid medication has a clear role. The direction is always clinical supervision, not abrupt discontinuation. For patients in India, Dr. Roshani manages thyroid medications directly. For international patients, she provides clinical guidance for your local prescriber.

The sequence is practical

01

Nutrition

Build meals around your actual kitchen while reducing the metabolic load around the thyroid.

02

Sleep

Look at the recovery pattern that affects energy, appetite, and hormonal stability.

03

Stress

Treat stress as part of the endocrine picture, especially when Hashimoto's is involved.

04

Exercise

Use movement and resistance training after the body is ready to build a stronger metabolic buffer.

Your food. Your kitchen. Your life.

Dr. Roshani and her team don't give you a diet chart. They help you understand how different foods affect your thyroid and your metabolic health - and they work with the food you actually eat. Vegetarian, non-vegetarian, Jain, eggetarian, vegan. The most common reason people leave other programs is they could not sustain the diet.

Start with one conversation.

What patients with thyroid conditions say

These are real, individual results - and they vary from person to person. Thyroid medication is only ever changed under medical supervision, never on your own.

More confidence

Patient-reported thyroid medication change

“When I joined I was on a Thyroid pill but in 3 months it's well under control without the pill. The intrinsic values and confidence that I have gained is above and beyond. I feel more confident taking on any challenges in life - including motherhood, which has always been very scary for me.”

MansiHypothyroidism
1 month

Patient-reported thyroid change

“I was suffering from thyroid and tried all possible doctors - could not cure it. One month of strictly following and changing the lifestyle. It actually helped and it was a miracle for even the best of doctors, how it changed without any medication.”

ShriramThyroid
TSH 6.9 → 5.6

Patient-reported medication restraint

“My TSH was 6.9. After just one visit with doctor and no thyroxine (which 99% doctors prescribe with this level of TSH), in 6 months my TSH is 5.6. I feel healthier and stronger.”

AartiHypothyroidism
TSH improved

In 3 months

“My blood report showing high TSH levels came as a shock to me. I began eating healthy or what I thought was healthy and exercised for a whole month, but all in vain. I felt even more exhausted than before.

She had dealt with hypothyroidism herself and had been living free of 'the pill' for the past 8 years. I thought to myself, 'She knows her stuff, she's a walk-the-talk kind of person.' Over the next 3 months Dr. Roshani proved me right.

On a rare occasion, her answer was a straight 'I don't know, there isn't enough research on this.' Her honesty left me amazed.

Within 3 months my TSH levels came down and every other health parameter improved. At the end of my 3-month program with Dr. Roshani I feel fully equipped to continue working on my health.”

The metabolic connection your doctor may not be looking for.

For many Indian-origin patients, thyroid symptoms, weight changes, PCOS, and insulin resistance travel together. Treating them as separate problems can miss the interaction between the thyroid number and the metabolic picture underneath it.

That is why thyroid management at Reisaan is not separated from metabolic health. The goal is to understand which part of the pattern is actually driving how you feel.

Useful when your picture overlaps

  • Thyroid plus weight gain or fatigue
  • Thyroid plus PCOS or irregular cycles
  • Thyroid plus high insulin, glucose, or cholesterol markers
  • Thyroid plus stress, sleep disruption, or medication questions

Most of Reisaan's patients are of Indian origin, living across 12+ countries. Patients from other backgrounds are welcome when this approach fits.

What you get - and what you keep.

The program starts only after the First Consultation has clarified the pattern and you decide the approach fits. It is not a prescription handoff or a diet chart.

1

Before the consultation

Share your reports, current medications, symptom history, and lifestyle questionnaire before you meet.

2

First Consultation

In person in Mumbai or online by video

Dr. Roshani reviews whether the symptoms are explained by thyroid alone, insulin resistance, medication timing, or a wider hormonal pattern.

3

Program if it fits

If the approach is right for your case, the 3-month program works on food, sleep, stress, movement, and medication review in sequence.

4

Independence

After the program, you have the knowledge and habits to manage more independently. For patients who want continued clinical involvement, maintenance options are available.

Note: Working online with Dr. Roshani does not replace the need for physical examinations with your primary care provider.

Dr. Roshani Sanghani

American Board-Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism

Dr. Roshani Sanghani has practiced lifestyle-first endocrinology for over 20 years. She is American Board-Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, and a MINT-Certified Motivational Interviewing Trainer. Thyroid conditions - hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, hyperthyroidism - sit directly within her clinical core.

She also brings something most endocrinologists cannot: personal experience. Dr. Roshani has Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. Through sustained lifestyle change - specifically stress management - her thyroid function stabilized to the point where she has not needed a thyroid pill for over a decade. She shares this not to make a promise, but because her patients deserve to know what is possible when the thyroid's environment changes.

Frequently asked questions

Thyroid & Your Health

Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and hyperthyroidism. The hormonal imbalance is different in each, but the lifestyle foundation that supports thyroid function is the same. Dr. Roshani manages the clinical and medication side; the program addresses the lifestyle environment that affects thyroid function across all of them.

Two things may need review at the same time. TSH within range does not always explain how a person feels. Fatigue, brain fog, and difficulty losing weight can also come from insulin resistance, sleep disruption, stress load, medication timing, or a related hormonal pattern. Dr. Roshani looks at the thyroid number and the metabolic picture underneath it.

Yes, the environment around the thyroid matters. Dr. Roshani also brings personal experience here: she has Hashimoto's hypothyroidism, and her thyroid function stabilized after sustained stress-management practice. She shares this as context, not as a promise that the same medication outcome applies to everyone.

Your first step

Bring your thyroid reports, current medicines, symptoms, and questions. The First Consultation is where Dr. Roshani helps clarify what your thyroid explains, what it may not explain, and whether the program fits.
