We generally advise getting protein to target through whole, unprocessed foods whenever possible. If a supplement is needed, we suggest looking for a supplement that has a single ingredient inside. No other additives. Why? Because we are taking it for health, not necessarily for taste.
Look for these ingredients:

❌ Emulsifiers,
❌ Artificial flavors,
❌ Artificial color,
❌ Nature identical substances
❌ Sugar substitutes, and sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit, sucralose, erythritol, maltodextrin, and fructooligosaccharides have unknown long-term effects on insulin secretion, gut health, cravings, and inflammation.
